Gabrielsen Farms, LLC crop production is grown in 300,000 sq ft of gutter connected Poly greenhouses at 4 locations on the East End of Long Island. We grow a wide assortment of potted annuals, perennials, Hanging Baskets, Flats, herbs and vegetables. Our winter production transitions to Hydroponic Lettuce, Spinach, Asian greens and assorted potted herbs.

At Gabrielsen Farms we pride ourselves in our quality and maintaining a “Growing Green Facility.” Our company leads the way, enabling the production of clean, safe vegetables and flowering plants. Our computer systems carefully monitor the greenhouse environment, recycling water & fertilizers to help protect our ground water. We release beneficial insects keeping our plants clean as an alternative to pesticide usage. We generate our own electricity through solar power and use high efficiency heaters and heat retention curtains which reduces our energy consumption by 50%.

We are extremely proud to work with schools across Long Island donating greenhouses and teaching agriculture in many classrooms.  We are instrumental in the success of over 10 school districts adding agriculture to their school curriculum’s as well as conducting teacher training sessions at our greenhouses. Additionally, we have hosted workshops and given tours to many school age children to create an understanding of where our food and flowers come from.
